Steering feels stiff and takes a bit more effort than normal and the steering wheel will not return to center/straight like it usually does. Recently Wes or somebody floated the idea that 7.3 head gaskets were stronger than the 6.9 because of the filled coolant channel.Break the locking nut loose with a 1/2 wrench, then screw the allen in with a 3/16 hex. Tighten the locking nut down to 7 ft lbs and check idle rpm.
